When asked about his motivation, Carlos recalls a clear example: “Once, I visited a complex where luxurious apartments, valued at about 1 million euros each, were being built. A complete truck full of kitchen equipment was stolen from the site despite the presence of a security guard. It appeared to be an inside job. This wouldn’t have happened with our UFOs present. You can’t bribe our systems.”

In Madrid alone, there are already 11 or 12 major projects,” he notes. Construction is Carlos’s main area of expertise. “Throughout my career, I’ve worked in business development and as a sales manager in construction and security. I have a lot of experience with both single and multi-facility projects and technical sales.”

Carlos thrives when he can visit a construction site without significant security measures. “I like to be ahead of the game, introduce myself, and ultimately convince the site managers that our system is the perfect solution,” he says.
By building personal relationships, Carlos aims to demonstrate that the UFO is a top-notch solution that prevents theft, vandalism, and costly delays. “The key is to understand what the customer truly needs and adapt to it. We don’t have to be friends, but mutual confidence is essential. Offering a serious solution based on respect is crucial. Lying and taking tricky actions are useless,” Carlos emphasizes.
Carlos is aware that some companies lack a budget for security. However, he believes that communication can open possibilities. “A recent study on crime in construction shows that thefts are still increasing. It’s a worrying trend. Stealing copper and selling it is still easy. Even with a security guard on-site, it’s impossible to see everything due to the sheer size of the sites,” he says.
Carlos concludes, “I can convince the customer that we can help both him and the security guard. The guard can be more relaxed and avoid difficult situations he would rather not be in.”
