De Jong attributes the popularity of Prime to its manufacturing simplicity and low power consumption, offering excellent detection capabilities for a diverse audience. The Prime's ease of production and cost-effectiveness contribute to its desirability, making it a sought-after choice in the market.
Having rolled out the 2000th UFO Prime just a year ago, the sustained demand for this model is evident, particularly as it caters to approximately 80% of construction site security needs. The Prime's track record as a reliable ally with minimal malfunctions further solidifies its status as a well-established and trusted camera system.
In a notable turn of events, the 3000th UFO Prime was not produced in Kooi's own facility but by the skilled technicians at Caparis, Kooi's social partner. The collaboration initiated a year ago, has proven successful, with Wieger Paulus, Supervisor of Production, highlighting the efficient partnership. Kooi supplies materials, while Caparis talents independently produce the UFOs, which undergo final checks and configuration at Kooi. The fruitful partnership is set to continue, with Caparis producing an additional 100 UFO Primes in 2024.
