For securing locations without a stable power supply, Kooi offers environmentally conscious solutions to guarantee your site’s surveillance. There is an option between a surveillance system with a built-in power supply, and one that can be coupled with Kooi’s Power Box.
The Kooi Power Boxes are used in places where no or insufficient electrical power is available, such as remote locations with no connection to the mains voltage or where solar energy is not an option.
The Power Box has a powerful, reliable and economical diesel engine that produces less particulate matter, CO2 and NOx. Thanks to smart technology, the Power Box only activates when the UFO signals the need. This limits fuel costs and CO2 emissions, thereby keeping environmental impact at a minimum. With soundproof housing and a built-in fuel tank, the Power Box is resistant to vandalism. Besides, it’s very suitable for continuous use over extended periods, even in an unstable environment.

The soot filter captures all soot particles and burns them completely. This reduces soot emissions by 99.9%.
