Ib vogt commissioned Conecon to build a 150MW solar plant located in the province of Zamora in Spain and Kooi UFO’s are now ensuring its safe construction process. Conecon GmbH is a renewables & environment company based out of Germany with expertise in the supply, installation, and maintenance of quality photovoltaic power plants for various kinds of projects.
Located near the city of Toro in the northwest of Spain, Garnacha solar power plant will feature more than 270,000 solar panels built north-south for optimal performance. During the construction period of a such solar farm, expensive equipment such as panels, inverters, and cables can be found on site which is susceptible to theft and vandalism. With the use of our innovative video surveillance, we are monitoring and securing the site and its assets day and night and preventing damage from intruders.
With an output of up to 300 GWh per year, the panels will produce clean solar electricity equivalent to the average consumption of 85,000 households while saving up to 50,000 tons of CO2 per year. Construction of the plant is expected to continue through 2023 with commercial operation planned by October 2023. With this project, ib vogt has also got into its first major collaboration with Google by signing a power purchase agreement for a period of 12 years.
Theft and vandalism cause millions of euros in damage every year. By properly securing your project site or location with our mobile video surveillance, you can avoid such preventable damages and delays in your project. More importantly, building the future should never come at the expense of safety and a good night's sleep.
